Abstract
Nowadays, family life is faced with many challenges. Among the basic factors that cause successful resistance of family members against challenging situations and plays an important role in overcoming them is "family resilience". The main goal of the current research was to find the resilience model of the family in the Holy Quran. Accordingly, in order to analyze the verses and extract the resilience components of the family, a combined method including theme analysis with two approaches of “vocabulary analysis” and “semantic analysis” was used in qualitative research as well as qualitative method in validating components. In the section on vocabulary, three categories including words related to family structure in the Holy Quran, family challenges in the Holy Quran, and resilience in the Holy Quran, and in the section on semantic analysis, those verses whose sematic contexts are related to the research subject are investigated. The present study obtained 779 verses in the stage of data gathering through vocabulary and semantic analysis and initial screening. The results of the analysis of the selected verses in identifying the resilience components, related to family challenges, showed 37 family resilience components in 5 dimensions of "religious resources", "belief system", "behavior system", "emotional system" and "personal qualifications" from the perspective of the Holy Quran. In this model, the "belief system" has a central role as the heart of resilience and can form and strengthen family resilience through managing the behaviors and emotions of family members
