The present study aimed to predict the positive image of God in the mind based on the emotional atmosphere of the family and the perceived parenting of the mother in students. This fundamental research and the research method were descriptive of the correlation type. The statistical population included all male and female students of the University of Quran and Hadith Sciences in the first half of the academic year 1403-1404, a sample of 210 people was selected using the available sampling method and data were collected using the questionnaires of the emotional atmosphere of the family by Hillburn (1964), the perception of parenting by Grolink et al. (1997), and the image of God by Greenway et al. (2003). In analyzing the data, the structural equation modeling method was used in the partial least squares method in the inferential statistics section. The results showed that there was a positive and significant path coefficient between the perceived parenting style (0.333) with the image of God and the emotional atmosphere of the family (0.366) with a positive image of God (p<0.01).
