Abstract
Purpose: The present research aimed to investigate the predicting role of ego strength family cohesion and religiosity for attitude towards marriage. Method: The research method was descriptive-correlation. The target population of this research included all male and female students study in Qom Universities in 1401-1402, which were selected by the convenience sampling method. Standard questionnaires of attitude towards marriage, ego strength, family cohesion and religious orientation were used to collect data. The obtained data were analyzed by calculating mean and standard deviation, Pearson correlation and regression and using spss software version 26. Findings: The findings showed that ego strength and religiosity predict attitudes towards marriage and between My strength, family cohesion and religiosity have a positive and direct relationship with attitude towards marriage (p<0.01). Conclusion: according to the results of this research, it is suggested that universities and educational centers implement trainings in order to strengthen ego strength, the family cohesion, and the religiosity of the youth, for correcting the attitude towards marriage.
