Abstract
Cognitive error is considered the basis of all human psychological abnormalities. The current research was conducted with the aim of conceptual modeling of cognitive errors in Islamic sources using the combined method of content analysis and quantitative validity of experts. The findings of this research showed that cognitive error consists of two components: recognition of error and error-making intellectual logic. A) superstition, superficiality, and fear of non-God provide the basis for following suspicion and fantasy. b) Superstitions, moodiness and haste lead to selective treatment. c) Traditionalism, egoism and stubbornness-right to disbelief in the field of error recognition (first component) provide the basis for distortion of facts. d) all components of error-making intellectual logic (following suspicion, fantasy, selective treatment, distortion of facts) by establishing "illogical analogy" is the central factor of cognitive error in Islamic sources". The findings of a quantitative study showed that the CVI index level under are in the range of 0.88 to 1 and the amount of CVR index in the sub-components is in the range of 0.78 to 1. Therefore, cognitive error in Islamic sources has a conceptual model and has content validity that can be measured in the form of making tools.
