The concept of responsibility and its components based on Islamic sources

Abstract

This research was conducted in order to identify the concept of responsibility and extract its components from Islamic sources - including verses, hadiths and opinions of Islamic thinkers.
The method of this research is qualitative content analysis of religious texts with an interpretive approach in which the word in question and its synonyms in dictionaries were first searched.
In the next stage, the words found were found in Islamic sources and after summarizing the findings, the components were taken from the results of verses and hadiths. Then, by presenting the obtained components to experts in psychology and religious sciences, the level of relevance and necessity of the components for the documents as well as the accuracy of the inference of the components from the documents were evaluated by the researcher.
According to experts, the approved components of responsibility are cognitive components (awareness of responsibility), emotional (persistence in responsibility and concern) and behavioral components (care, accountability, fulfillment of responsibility, perseverance in action, struggle and Lack of laxity, being task-oriented and not making excuses).
