Abstract
The present study was conducted with the aim of modeling, explaining the mechanism of effectiveness and testing the role of self-awareness and identity in the process of the impact of awareness of God on mental health. This research is a descriptive study using correlation, which utilizes path analysis for analyzing the data of four related scales, which were administered simultaneously on 225 samples. The findings show that there is a goodness of fit in the causal model and in the pattern of path analysis of awareness of God to mental health through the mediation of "self-awareness" and “identity-finding ". Therefore, the mechanism of the impact of awareness of God‘s and His remembrance in serenity and mental health is explainable through the processes of self-awareness and identity-finding, and consequently, the personal functions in unity, solidarity and mental balance.
