This study aimed at the explanation of the strategies of anger management from the perspective of the Islamic teachings (verses and hadiths), the thinkers of Islamic ethics, and modern psychology. For this purpose, the verses and hadiths on anger control were examined, and by studying the relations between the verses and hadiths, the anger management from the perspective of Islam teachings was explained; then, the texts related to anger in the thinkers’ works on Islamic ethics and modern psychology were collected and analyzed, and the strategies of anger management from each perspective was presented. The findings showed that the Qur’an and hadiths explained the objective, foundations, and principles of anger management, and did not attempt to express all its details. The Qur’an and hadiths have presented the strategies for anger management, but anger control is not limited to them. Therefore, we can use some strategies in modern psychology, just as the scholars of ethics in their works they not only have explained the strategies in the verses and hadiths, but have also presented the strategies for desirable ager management through rational method, introspection and personal observations. Comparing the findings of this study with previous studies, it can be seen that in a comparative study on the strategies of anger management in Islam and psychology, researchers considered Islam to consist of the teachings of the Qur’an and hadiths, and moral scholars’ moral teachings, while the teachings of Islam, and the teachings of moral scholars should be separated from each other, and then compared with psychology.
